Some 27 centuries ago, the prophet Isaiah foretold a time when "nation
shall not life up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."
Since that time, countless millions of lives have been lost in war and
its grim aftermath, and man has expended vast resources in killing his
fellowman. Were Isaiah's words simply an empty dream, or will they one
day become a reality?
